Cherished husband, father and grandfather, Henry Bert Cheatwood, entered into Heaven on April 3, 2025 at the age of 88 from his home in Branson. Henry was born on December 13, 1936, in Lake Charles, LA, to his parents, Henry and Stella.

Henry will be deeply missed by his devoted wife, Phyllis, his loving daughters, Debra and Brenda, his two cherished grandchildren, and his two adored great-grandchildren. Henry was preceded in death by his parents and his sisters, Betty Myers and Delores Linnell.

A man of profound faith and wisdom, Henry was a graduate of Southern Nazarene University in Bethany, OK and received his Masters from Trinity Bible Seminary in St. Louis. His calling as a minister was enriched by his musical gifts and beautiful singing voice that he used to worship God.

Aside from his ministry, Henry was known for his handy nature, fixing things, as well as his remarkable sense of humor and enjoyment in making people laugh. He was also a faithful listener and supporter of Focus on the Family ministry. Henry was a lover of nature and saw the hand of God in all creation.

Henry's life was a testament to the power of faith, the beauty of music, and the joy of serving others. He was an amazing husband, father, grandfather and a true friend who will be profoundly missed and forever cherished.

Henry’s life will be celebrated in funeral services on Wednesday, April 9, 2025.  Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM in Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home & Crematory, Branson with funeral services following at 2:00 PM in the funeral home.  He will be laid to rest in Ozarks Memorial Park Cemetery, Branson.

In Henry’s memory, donations can be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
