Harry Eugene “Gene” Bobsin, II passed away at his home in Hollister on April 14, 2025 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Gene was born in Dover, Delaware on February 21, 1969. His family moved to Missouri when he was a young boy. Gene was a proud graduate of Hollister High School, class of '87, and shortly thereafter began a fulfilling career in maintenance at the StoneBridge Village residential golfing community. He was known for his loving and thoughtful nature, traits that resonated in every aspect of his life.
He will be remembered for his deep love of old cars, the joy he found in music and records, and his unwavering support for the Kansas City Chiefs. Gene's good heart touched many, and he will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Gene is survived by Wife Dawn; Sons Skyler Sims and Justin (Joanna) Tate; Daughter Katlyn Pollard; Father Harry Bobsin (Natalie) of Blue Eye; Mother-in-law Katie Musser; siblings Steve Bobsin (Angi) of Scottsdale, AZ, Ryan Bobsin (Nicole) of Higginsville, MO, Derek Bobsin of Blue Eye, Christie Porfirio (Damian) of Branson, Savannah Snyder (Justin) of Manford, OK and Mahalia Campbell (Trevor) of Hollister; Grandchildren Tristen, Atlas and Aurora Tate; Sister in-laws Kim (Steve) Taber and Paige Holder as well as several extended family members and friends. Gene was preceded in death by his Mother, Linda Kellum; Father in- law James Holder and Stepfather in-law Michael Musser .
Services will be held on Saturday, April 19, 2025 in Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home & Crematory, Branson. Visitation will begin at 9:00 am and funeral services will follow at 10:00 am in the funeral home. Gene will be laid to rest in Ozarks Memorial Park Cemetery, Branson.
