Gloria J. Grantham

Gloria Grantham, beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend went home to Jesus on Friday, April 15, 2022 in Branson, Missouri at the age of 76.

Gloria Jean (Parks) Grantham was born on October 5, 1945 in Macon, Georgia to Oscar Rollo Parks and Irma Louise (Dent) Parks.  She was devoted to her family, church, community and friends.  Her outgoing, fun personality and kind spirit endeared her to friends, family and strangers alike. Throughout her life, she was active in church, singing in the choir and teaching Sunday school, and was an avid golfer. After moving to Missouri, she faithfully studied the Bible and attended First Baptist Church in Branson.  Gloria also enjoyed traveling internationally, creating art for her home and family, fellowship with friends and spending time with her grandsons.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Helen Delores Defoe and Sara Lynn Miles.

Gloria is survived by her two sons and her two daughters-in-law, James and Bonnie Grantham of Nixa and Matthew and Mari Grantham of Branson; her two grandsons, Evan and Jude, and one sister, Brenda Sue Weed of Fountain Valley, California.

She was deeply loved and will be deeply missed.
