Gary L. Baker

Gary Baker, 75, of Branson passed away on October 6, 2024, after a battle with Cancer.

Gary is a lifelong resident of Branson Missouri and graduated from Branson High School in 1967. He attended college at Missouri State University in Springfield, Missouri. Gary was self employed as a Leather Craftsman owning Wilderness Leatherworks his whole life. He was a beloved Husband, Father, Brother and Granddad. Gary was beloved by all those he met and knew. Gary enjoyed all his various pets over the years. He enjoyed traveling and taking cruises throughout his life. His later years were devoted to his family and his grandchildren. He was always surrounded by his loved ones whether he liked it or not.

Gary is preceded in death by his parents Floyd and Helen Baker and his beloved son Jeff Baker and survived by his wife of 46 years Rene (Snow) Baker, Sister Faye Baker, Son Nathan (Betsy) Baker, Son Brad (Stephanie) Baker, Daughter Lindsey (Kenny Thornton) Baker, and Grandchildren Miley and Bentley Thornton.

Visitation for Gary will be Thursday evening, October 10, 2024 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. in Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home & Crematory.  Funeral services will be Friday, October 11, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home.  Gary will be laid to rest at a later date in Ozarks Memorial Park Cemetery, Branson.
