On Tuesday, January 26, 2021, Frances Mae Sutter, loving wife, mother and grandmother passed away peacefully at the age of 88 years.
Frances was born on July 18, 1932 in Crawford County, Missouri to Omar and Gertrude Spurgeon. On August 23, 1952, she married Charles William Sutter, Jr. at Trinity Chapel in Cuba, Missouri. Together they raised two children, Deborah Grob and William Sutter.
Frances is survived by her husband Charles Sutter; her sister, Ruth Hendrickson; her two children, Deborah Grob (Dennis) and William Sutter (Sarah); her four grandchildren, Tonya Drumm (Scott), Amber Vinson, William Sutter (Rachel), and Elizabeth Knight (Chandler); and her six great grandchildren, Hannah, Halee, William, Ava, Zoe, and Benjamin.
Frances enjoyed traveling, visiting flea-markets, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She will be remembered for her infectious laugh, beautifully tended rose bushes, and her loving, tender smile.
Due to Covid restrictions, private family services were held. Frances was laid to rest in Ozarks Memorial Park Cemetery, Branson under the direction of Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory, Branson.
