Elsie Dorothy Kinyon

Elsie Dorothy Kinyon was born December 7, 1934 in Grand Rapids, Iowa.  She spent the first few years of her life in Iowa before moving with her family to Branson.  Elsie was very much a family person and devoted her life to caring for her husband Sidney and daughter Kelly. She enjoyed spending time making sand art by putting sand in bottles and watching game shows.  She was a collector of dolphins and owls but her favorite animal was her sweet cat, Oreo. Elsie also found joy in reading and being read to by Kelly.

Elsie entered into rest on Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at Aurora Nursing Center at the age of 85.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar & Margaret (Kruft) Myers; husband, Sidney Kinyon, brothers, Dick Myers and William Myers and sister, Elaine Clayton.

Elsie is survived by her daughter Kelly Kinyon of Republic and significant other William Crow; brother, Virgil Myers and wife Stella of Rockaway Beach, MO and niece Rebecca Greenup of Billings.

Graveside services will be at 2:00 P.M. on March 7, 2020 in Ozarks Memorial Park Cemetery.
