Edsel Howington Obituary

Edsel L. Howington, 83, Branson entered into rest on Thursday, July 21, 2022. Military honors and service will be held Wednesday, July 27, 11 AM Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield, Mo. Services are under the direction of Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home, Branson.

Edsel Leon Howington was born July 11, 1939 in Dante, Virginia. He was the son of Emory and Stella (Ervin) Howington. He married Berniece Marie Reeves July 20, 1978 and they had a wonderful life together.

His career was serving his country in the United States Air Force. He retired from the Air Force with the rank of Staff Sergeant.

Edsel is survived by his loving wife Bernice of the home; three sons Scott Howington of Virginia; Edward Howington of Seymour, Ind.; Matthew (Senaida) Howington of Branson and four grandchildren.
