Donny Pierce, beloved husband, father and grandpa passed away at his home in Branson on May 7, 2024 at the age of 72.
Born Donald Clifford Pierce on July 5, 1951, Donny grew up in Pine Bluff, Arkansas and graduated from Watson Chapel High School in Pine Bluff. He spent his working career, operating his own landscaping business as well as doing taxidermy. He was a hardworking man who had a strong work ethic and was a good provider for his family.
Donny was a sportsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing. What he loved most was his family. When he married his cherished wife, Sheila on June 30, 1987, their families combined to a home full of seven children, activity and fun. He was an amazing father and grandfather who was very involved with his family and showered them with love and guidance.
Donny was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin Pierce and Clara Mae Davis; brother Gerald Dale "Buddy" and granddaughter Christa Pierce.
He will be deeply missed by his wife, Sheila Pierce of Branson; children, Tracy Pierce of Benton, AR, Stacy Pierce & wife Trish of Branson, Casey Pierce & wife Kelsey of TX, Lacie Taylor & husband Keith of Grapevine, AR, Jason Lorren & wife Stephanie of Haskell, AR, Jeffrey Lorren of Searcy, AR and Brandon Lorren of Springfield; his brother, David Pierce of Pine Bluff, AR; sister, Barbara Vegas of CA; fifteen grandchildren; and twenty great-grandchildren with one on the way.
Cremation arrangements are in the care of Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home & Crematory, Branson.
