Donald R. Tinker, 83 of Branson, entered into rest in the early morning of Aug. 11, 2020 at his home. Private memorial services will be held at a later date. Services are under the direction Snapp-Bearden Funeral Directors, Branson.
Donald Ray Tinker was born January 30, 1937 at Walnut Shade, Mo. He was the son of Tom and Georgia (Melton) Tinker. He graduated from Branson High School. Don served his country in the United States Army. He married Linda Everett on Dec. 12, 1963, they had celebrated fifty-six years together this past December. Donald and Linda were blessed with two sons.
Don worked for the College of the Ozarks in the construction department until retirement.
He was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses Church in Branson. Don’s hobbies were wood cutting, fishing, going to Bull Creek to fish and swim. He would enjoy the whole day at the creek, especially with family. He loved the outdoors.
Don is survived by his loving wife Linda Tinker of the home; two sons Tom Tinker (Rita) of Branson; Michael Tinker (Jennifer) of Keihi, HI; two siblings, Jim Tinker of Sparta, Mo., and Sharon Skinner of Ozark, Mo.; two grandchildren Dustin and Tyler (Sabrina) and a great granddaughter Brinley.
