Donald Peterson Obituary

Donald Raymond Peterson, age 85, passed away peacefully on November 13, 2020 due to natural causes.  He was born June 9, 1935 in Wabeno, Wisconsin.  He served in the United States Marine Corps from 1954-1957.  He married the love of his life Jessie Mae Peterson on September 8, 1969 and has spent the last 51 years of his life happy and building the life they loved.

Don is the father of 7 beautiful children:  Joy Morris of Forsyth, MO, Robin Wilson of Venice on the Lake, MO, Jacqueline Bendall, deceased, Donna Davis of Arizona, Thomas Peterson and wife, Merriam Woods, MO, Tammy Blevins of Hollister, MO and Tina Peterson of Branson, MO.  Don has 19 grandkids and 27 great grandkids and 1 great great grandchild.  Don was preceded in death by his daughter, Jacqueline Bendall, father, Andy Peterson, and mother and father Demaine and Evelyn Brandow, and son-in-law Kenneth Blevins.

Don loved a lot of things in life, but being surrounded by his wife, kids, and grandkids is what he loved most of all.  He enjoyed dragging them along to find things he could collect, from Hot Wheels to antique dishes and everything in between.  He enjoyed camping and fishing in Wisconsin with their best friends.  He loved music and dancing at any time he could.  He also enjoyed watching the Green Bay Packers, scratching lottery tickets, teasing his grandkids, and making funny faces and songs with them.
