A celebration of life gathering for Dennis Little will be held at the Elks Lodge in Forsyth at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, April 28, 2023. Private graveside services with full military honors will be held in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield under the direction of Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory, Branson.
Dennis Northmore Little was born to Donald & Grace (Butler) Little on November 3, 1932 in Los Angeles, CA. After graduating high school, he served during the Korean Conflict in the United States Air Force. He attended Oxidental College in Los Angeles and graduated from Cal State in L.A. with a bachelor of science degree in education. Along with being a teacher for several years, Dennis was also accomplished as a graphic artist and publisher of his publication “Trivia Time”. He enjoyed woodworking, creating stained glass art, going on cruises and caring for his cats. In June of 2020, he moved from San Diego, CA to Branson. He was a member of the Elks Lodge, an ambassador for the Branson and Forsyth Chamber of Commerce, and an associate member at College of the Ozarks.
Dennis entered into rest on Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at Cox Medical Center Branson at the age of 90.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Judy Jones.
Left to cherish Dennis’ memory are his children, Douglas Little (Nileen) of Branson, Craig Little (Megan Combs) of Portland, OR, Patricia Carlson of New Zealand, Stacy Cook (Sky) of Boise, ID; brother, D. Richard Little (Annabelle) of San Diego, CA; grandchildren, Samantha, Matthew, Milly, Scotty, Jonna, Rachel, Maya, Drew and Jayden and great grandbaby, Astrid Browning.
