David L. Strong

David Lee Strong, 60, Branson passed away Saturday, July 23, 2022.   Services will be held Thursday, July 28, 2022, 1PM at Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home, Branson.  Pastor Tim Moore will officiate.  Burial will follow in the Ozarks Memorial Park Cemetery, Branson.

David Lee Strong was born May 30, 1962 in Ft. Walton, Florida to Benton and Myrna (Ballman) Strong. The family moved to San Antonio, Texas where he attended elementary school; David attended high school at Malvern, Arkansas and college at Henderson State in Arkadelphia, Arkansas. David received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting and continued on to become a Certified Public Accountant.

He married his sweetheart, Susan Kimberly “Kim” Moore on May 25, 1991 in Little Rock, Ark.  They had celebrated thirty-one years together this past May. David and Kim moved to Branson twelve years ago from Cape Girardeau, Mo. David was Vice President of Hospital Revenue CoxHealth and Chief Financial Officer at Cox Medical Center, Branson.

David loved his wife and his family.  He loved playing games and making silly jokes with his grandbabies.  David enjoyed playing golf with his friends and riding his motorcycle.  He was looking forward to retirement so he could do more of what he loved most, traveling with his wife and spending time with his family and friends.

David was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his loving wife Kim of the home; children Cody Fenton (Casey) of Branson; Benton “Ben” Strong (Melanie) of Belton, Mo.; Morgan Strong of Branson; Amanda Strong of Texas; his sister Lori Manning (Donny) of Jacksonville, Ark; and two loving grandchildren, Adalynn Fenton and Emma Kate Fenton.

Visitation will be Thursday, July 28 from 10AM until service time. In David’s memory, memorials may be sent to the Skaggs Foundation, 101 Skaggs Rd. Suite 404, Branson, Mo. 65616.
