Danny Robertson

Danny Robertson, 76 of Branson, was born on February 3, 1947, in Harrison, AR and peacefully passed away on August 10, 2023, in Branson, MO with his loving wife Karen and family by his side.

Danny grew up in California and lived there many years before moving back to Arkansas and southwest Missouri in 1997.  He bravely served in the United States Army during the Vietnam conflict, after being drafted in 1966.

Upon returning to the Ozarks, Danny worked for over 20 years in facility management with vacation resorts, demonstrating his exceptional skills in upkeep, organization, and maintenance. He also served a significant part of his career with Lowe's, specifically taking on a pivotal role in the opening of the Hollister store.

Married to his beloved wife Karen Robertson on January 1, 2000, at Faith Lutheran Church in Branson, Danny was not just a devoted husband but an active member of the church community. He took pleasure in engaging with men's activities and undertaking responsibilities as a Trustee.

Apart from his work and church duties, Danny was a man of many interests. He had a passion for playing pool, darts, and cards, relished trips to the casinos and lake, and took great joy in gardening. His love for dogs was well-known among his family and friends. But above all, he cherished spending time with Karen and his family.

He was a beloved father to Lisa Cabrera of San Antonio, TX and caring stepfather to Kyle Kulow (Amanda) of Garden Ridge, TX, Kamy Kulow (Angie Brown) of Aurora, MO, and Justin Holle (Amie) of Forsyth, MO. His love extended to his grandchildren, Uriah, Naomi, Isabella, Haiden, Baylee, Trey, Brittany, K.C., Andrea, his four great grandchildren, and one great granddaughter soon to be born.

Danny also leaves behind his brother, Sammy Robertson; sisters, Brenda Clifford, Deborah Robertson and Paula Jones, all of Modesto, CA, several nieces, nephews and countless friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Alva Loren Robertson and Eva Pauline (Stacy) Robertson and one sister, Lorna DeGraffenreid.

Danny Robertson left a profound impact on all those who knew him. His vibrant personality, energetic spirit, commitment to work, and unwavering faith made him an inspiration for many. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know him.

Services for Danny will be held on Sunday, August 13, 2023 at Faith Lutheran Church, 221 Malone Dr., Branson, MO. Visitation will be from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the church. Funeral services will follow at 4:00 p.m. with full military honors.  Danny will be interred at a later date in Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield.
