Danny Joe Pride

Danny Joe Pride, 57, died at his home in Kirbyville on Friday June 26th after a long battle with cancer.

Born February 27, 1963 in Branson, Missouri to Billy Joe & Peggy Pride, he attended Kirbyville School K-8 and graduated from Branson High School in 1981.

Danny lived in Kirbyville and worked as a large equipment operator and truck driver for multiple local companies during his career.

Danny will be especially remembered for being a “one of a kind” man, staying true to his word, helping others and always making everyone smile.

Survivors include his son Bobby & Audra Pride; daughter Rose & Ryan Backlin and grandmother Pauline Pride all of Kirbyville along with two Grandsons Colby and Dylan Pride and Grand-dog Roxie Backlin.

Danny was preceded in death by his grandfather Joe Pride and his parents Billy Joe Pride and Peggy Pride.

Services were held graveside, Monday June 29 at Mincy Cemetery with an “Old Fashioned” burial.
