Dannie Dee Troy Snider, 71, of Aurora formerly of Hollister passed away June 6, 2019 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, MO. Services will be Thursday, June 13 at Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory, Branson. Visitation will begin at 1:00 P.M. with the funeral service at 2:00 P.M. and burial following in Gobblers Knob Cemetery, Hollister. Rev. Bobby Fausett and Rev. Rex Mooneyham will officiate.
Dannie was born on May 18, 1948 in Branson, Missouri. He was the son of Dee Troy Snider and Opal B. (Combs) Snider. He graduated from Hollister High School. Dannie served in the United States Army during Vietnam. Upon returning home, Dannie worked in the construction business. He was a student of the Bible and loved studying God’s Word. He was also known for his love of Coca-Cola, Roman meal bread and banana pudding. He was a kind and loving man who will certainly be missed.
Dannie was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Joshua Snider; brother, Jerry Snider and two sisters, Pauline Compton and DeeAnn Miller.
He is survived by five children, David Snider (Kay) of Ozark, Joey Snider (Dusty) of Republic, Chad Snider of Branson, Daniel Snider (Ashley) of St. Joe, MO and Megan Holmberg (Jess) of Branson. Also surviving is brother, Johnnie Snider (Sarah) of Walnut Shade; sisters, Jessie Fausett (Bobby) of Kirbyville and Linda Jones of Branson along with twelve grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
