Cruzita "Gussie" Mustain Obituary

Cruzita "Gussie" Mustain was born in Los Angeles, CA on Jan 25, 1951.

Predeceased by her husband, Jim Mustain, her parents Manuel & Emma Aguilera and her brother Manuel Aguilera, Jr. She is survived by her sister, Maria Meza Aguilera.

Gussie was an artist and illustrator with a whimsical animation flair. She painted everyday moments with a passion for bold, vibrant colors which radiated a joyfulness that appealed to your heart. She had the ability to capture the warm genuine heartfelt moments. Her unique style “Just brought a smile to your face”.

Gussie would have wanted us to celebrate her life and our fond memories with a smile on our face.

My sister enjoyed life. She always had a smile on her face and loved her positive fun-loving attitude. Gussie was also a very compassionate person. She cared a lot for her friends, family, and Church.

Gussie was more than my sister; she was my closest friend. Even though she was younger than me, from a young age she was wise beyond her years.

I am honored that Gussie was my sister and will look back on our time together with fond memories. Gussie, I will always remember you and the time we spent together. Your memory will live on in my heart forever.
