Services for Charles Warren Walling, 72 of Branson, will be Monday, July 27, 2020 with visitation at 10:00 A.M. and the service to begin at 11:00 A.M. in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 244 Church Road in Branson. Burial will follow in Missouri Veterans Cemetery, 5201 S. Southwood Road, Springfield at 1:00 P.M. with military honors.
Charles was born on April 25, 1948 in Eufaula, Alabama. He proudly served in the United States Navy and loved his country. Charles lived in Modesto, California before moving to Branson. He worked in automotive repair and as a computer technician. Charles married his wife, Katie on April 17, 2004 in Branson. He enjoyed story-telling, collecting Hot Wheels and guns and researching genealogy.
Charles entered into rest on Sunday, July 19, 2020 at his home in Branson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ted & Mary (Scroggins) Walling; son, Jonathan Walling and sisters, Sharon Glover, Carolyn Duncan and Tina Walling.
Charles is survived by his wife, Katie Walling of Branson; sons, Charles David Walling (Shawn) of Kissee Mills, Joshua Walling of Branson and Shawn Baum (Cheryl) of Willard; daughters, Christina Johnson (Allan) of Kirbyville, Kimberly Hutchinson (Brian) of Kirbyville and Sharna Cummings (Scott) of Halltown; one sister, Elaine Taylor (Tom) of Ceres, CA; seventeen grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
