Charlene "Charlee" (Harrison) Morgan Obituary

Charlene “Charlee” Gail Morgan was born June 11, 1942 in Yuma, Arizona.  She was one of four children born to Charlie & Ada (Rather) Harrison.  She spent much of her life in Somerton, AZ and southern California where she loved going to the beach.

Charlee grew up in a small family church where she studied the Bible and began a lifelong relationship with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

In 1993, she moved to Hollister, loving the atmosphere and way of life that Branson had to offer.  She worked in the restaurant industry in Branson including her final job which was with Tony Z’s. She also loved her church, New Life Temple in Hollister.

Charlee devoted her life to her family.  She stayed home as a mother and wife, caring for her children much of her life. She will be remembered for her amazing laugh and her big red hair.  She loved Southwestern flair, collecting porcelain horses, shopping and dancing.  She will be deeply missed but leaves great memories to be forever cherished by her family and friends.

Charlee entered into rest on December 14, 2024 in Branson at the age of 82.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Ada and two husbands, Rick Childs and Jack Spelce.

Charlee leaves behind her children, Bobby Childs of Branson, Rick Childs of St. Louis and Robin Fowler of East Texas; her grandchildren, Kevin Childs, Kerbie Cammack, Cory Childs, Amanda Fowler, Al Fowler and Kasey Hirahara; one great-granddaughter, Felicity Fowler; and her siblings, Rosemary Hornberger of Cairo, IL, Gary Harrison of Yuma, AZ and Francis Wegman of Eldon, MO.

A celebration of Charlee’s life will be held at a later date.
