Cedric Benoit Obituary

Funeral services will be held October 9, 2021 at a 10:30 am Mass at St. Frances Xavier Cabrini Mission Chapel honoring the life of Cedric Lawrence Benoit, 62, who died August 26, 2021 at his residence in Branson, Missouri.

Cedric was born on October 9, 1958 and grew up in Kaplan, Louisiana. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He was an accomplished accordionist, singer, and songwriter.

He is survived by his three children, Rocky Benoit, Heidi Benoit, and Luke Benoit; three siblings, Rebecca Benoit, Vida Benoit Brough and James Vince Benoit; and three grandchildren, Jolie Marie Benoit, John Thomas Ward III, and Elijah Cade Benoit.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence Joseph Benoit and Mildred Cornor Benoit.
