A graveside memorial service for Carolyn Scott Lammers, 77, of Hollister will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 3, 2018, at Ozarks Memorial Park Cemetery, Branson. Rev. Bobby Fausett will officiate. Carolyn passed away October 8, 2018.
Carolyn Scott Motts was born June 15, 1941 in Warsaw, New York. She was the daughter of George and Doris (Irish) Motts. She was wed in marriage to Roger Paladino on October 10, 1964. Carolyn had worked for the telephone company and the Social Security Administration. She owned the West Plains General Trade Store and co-owned a pawn shop in Branson. Carolyn was active in Hilltop Church of God and Good Shepherd Church. She enjoyed traveling. She had visited 25 states, Mexico and the Caribbean. She was also a talented pianist and painter. She will forever be remembered for her work ethic and love for others.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her second husband, Cedric Anthony Scott and one sister, Barbara Bradt.
Carolyn is survived by her husband, Dr. Bruce Lammers; her children: Rachel Dunlap (Steve Merritt) of Walnut Shade, Missouri; David (Krista) Paladino of Ocean Springs, Mississippi; Ted (Jackie) Scott of West Plains, Missouri; her grandchildren: Meagan Dunlap, Michael Dunlap, Gabriella Paladino, Grace Paladino, Ethan Paladino, Kirstin (Dustin) Floyd, Jordan (Ariel) Scott, Audrey Scott, Lincoln Scott; great-grandchildren: Isaac Scott and Noah Scott; sister, Shirley (Fred) Gardner of Warrenton, Virginia and sister, Judy (Frank) Fine of Florida
Following the service, a celebration of Carolyn’s life will be held at the home of her daughter, Rachel.
