Brenda Jane Phillips

Memorial service for Brenda Jane Phillips, 60 of Galena will be held Saturday July 29, at 11AM in the Church of Jesus Christ Latter-day Saints, Branson West.  Bishop Gettling will officiate.  Burial will be held at a later date.   Mrs. Phillips entered into rest on July 23, 2023 at Branson West. Cremation was under the direction of Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory, Branson.

Brenda Jane Phillips was born March 6, 1963 in Wichita, Kansas.   She had worked many jobs in her lifetime most of these being in the Wichita, Kansas area. She worked at Boeing Aircraft in the paint department, the U.S. Post Office, and was manager for Burger King and General Manager for Braums Ice Cream.

Brenda enjoyed bird watching, coloring books and being with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ronald Dee Kehl and Elizabeth Kay (Lamb) Windholz; her husband Francis Gailen Phillips; her daughter Jamie G. Phillips and a brother Edward Miller.

Brenda is survived by her step-sons Gailen Phillips and Clint Phillips; step-daughter Tina Lopez, brother Ronald Kehl (Brandy); sisters Kathryn Sutton (Lonnie) and Tammey Stacey (Carl); nephews, Andre Mercer, Brayden Kehl, and Ulric Sutton; nieces, Brooke Mercer, Stephanie Hoelscher, Breion Sutton and Laura Mofield as well as her two great nieces Sierra and Abigail.
