Beverly “Jeanne” Steveson left a remarkable imprint on the hearts and minds of those around her. Born on March 9,1960 in Jefferson City Missouri.
The daughter of Charles (Ed) & Lena Fisher from Vienna Missouri, Jeanne graduated from Vienna High School in 1978. After graduation Jeanne attended college at Central Missouri State University in Warrensburg Missouri graduating with a bachelor’s degree.
Jeanne and Lee met while he was stationed at Whiteman Air Force Base, Missouri and married on June 4th, 1994. Together they traveled to numerous Air Force Bases, and they enjoyed traveling in their RV to many locations which almost always included a beach, which was Jeanne’s favorite place to camp.
Jeanne is survived by her husband of 30 years, Cecil “Lee” Steveson, stepdaughter Kenie Bradley and her husband Brice, along with 3 granddaughters, 4 brothers, Donald and wife Judy, Lonnie, Earl and wife Audrey, Charles (Shorty) and wife Carol along with 4 sisters, Mary Ann, Pauline, Lily and husband Larry, and Glenda (Jody) and husband Boyd. Preceded in death by her father, Ed, and mother Lena.
Jeanne’s life journey came to an end on July 17, 2024, after a long battle with cancer.
Jeanne has always had a heart for ministry and her last job was working for Rural Compassion, an organization focused on Training, Resourcing, Empowering & Partnering with rural churches so they can enhance their presence in, and help strengthen their communities.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home & Crematory in Branson on August 3rd, 2024, at 11:00 am.
Jeanne will be laid to rest to rest at the Missouri Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Springfield Missouri on August 5th, 2024, in a private ceremony with family.
