Beverly Rawling

Beverly Rawling was born in Detroit, Michigan on March 14, 1930, to Byron and Dorothy Campbell. She married William (Raymond) Rawling on July 16, 1949. On October 27, 2024, Beverly went to be with her Lord and Savior and was reunited with her husband and parents.
Beverly and Ray raised their six children on Cedar Lake in Oscoda, Michigan and in Bay City, Michigan. When all of her children were in school, she went to college to become a registered nurse, and she worked in several capacities in her field. In 1981, Ray and Beverly moved to Pensacola, Florida where they lived for several years before relocating to Ash Flat, Arkansas. After Ray’s death, Beverly moved to Nashville, then to Blue Eye, Missouri, where she lived with her daughter, Beth, and Beth’s husband, Michael.
All who ever met Beverly described her as an amazing, beautiful woman. Her smile was radiant, and her love for Jesus was apparent to everyone she encountered. Beverly had a servant’s heart, which was apparent in all she did- serving wonderful meals to family and friends, traveling to mission fields, and volunteering as a chaplain in the hospital are only a few of ways in which she served. She also dressed up as Raggedy Ann to volunteer at Vanderbilt Hospital and Mother Goose to read to children in schools. 
Beverly had a passion for reading and she loved working with her hands. As children, her daughters were often seen wearing matching outfits that she had sewn for them. In later years, her gifts were often handmade, whether it was a cross-stitched picture, knitted or crocheted item, or best of all- a beautiful quilt. Many of Beverly’s quilts won awards in her local fair. Each of her children and grandchildren are blessed to own one of these treasures.
Beverly is survived by her six children: Dan Rawling (Bob Vacarro), Colleen Lehmann (Leigh), Bill Rawling (Nan), Beth Pelham (Michael), Gay McNeley, and Dawn Hayes (Dan), as well as 13 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Preceded by her death were her parents, husband, brother Robert Campbell, and grandson Harry Hayes.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
