Betty Hall Obituary

Betty Hall was born August 22, 1936 in Kirbyville to Cecil & Monta (Fisher) McClary.  She was a lifelong resident of Taney County, attending school in Kirbyville and graduated from Branson High School.

It was on April 19, 1963 that Betty married the love of her life, Frank Hall, at the Branson Christian Church.  Betty was an amazing wife and mother and also worked outside the home as the beloved head cook for Forsyth Public Schools.

Betty will be remembered for her loving and giving spirit.  Spending time with her family was her greatest joy, and her biggest delight involved making memories with her grandchildren.  She selflessly gave of her time and care, not just to her family, but to anyone who needed extra help.  Her love and generosity overflowed out of her relationship with Jesus.  Betty grew in her faith as a faithful member of Sardis General Baptist in Forsyth.  She also enjoyed quilting and being part of a quilting group, creating beautiful projects with friends.  Betty’s home was always a welcoming retreat filled with love, food and beautiful flowers that she grew.

Betty entered into rest on Wednesday, December 4, 2024 at the age of 88.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil & Monta McClary and two brothers, James McClary and Ray McClary.

She will be deeply missed by her family: husband, Frank Hall of Kirbyville; children, Andrew Hall & wife Mary of Cedar Falls, IA and Ronda Phillips & husband Doug of Ozark; grandchildren, Faith Hall & husband Carl Conti of Baton Rouge, LA, Nathan Hall & wife Erin of Ames, IA, Jared Phillips of Ozark, MO and Clayton Phillips & wife Ashlyn of Springfield, MO; great-grandson, Sammy Hall; sisters, Hazel Brittain of Hollister, MO and Rubie Stancil of San Antonio, TX along with numerous nieces and nephews.
