Betty Dailey

Services for Betty L. Dailey, 87, Sparta will be held Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. with visitation starting at 12 PM at the Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory, Branson.  Pastor Ron Hutchins will officiate.  Burial will follow in the Ozarks Memorial Park Cemetery, Branson.  Mrs. Dailey entered into rest on Friday, July 21, 2023 at the Cox Medical Center, Springfield.

Betty Lou Dailey was born July 16, 1936 at Knoxville, Iowa.  She was the daughter of Earl and Mildred (Fish) Hanson.   Betty married Ed Dailey on Dec. 30, 1956 in Knoxville, Iowa.  They moved to the Hollister area in 1981 and eventually Branson.

She worked for Skaggs Hospital in Branson as the Human Resource Director from which she retired.  Betty enjoyed bird watching, quilting, gardening and being with her family and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, daughter Jessica Dailey, sister Dorothy Davis and one great grandson Levi Rogers.

Betty is survived by sons Tim Dailey (Kim) of Calif.; Kevin Dailey (Angela) of Sparta, Mo.; daughters D Upchurch (John) of Cape Fair Mo.; Tina Stifel (Steve) of Des Moines, IA.; Kim Hutchins (Ron) of Rogers, Ark.; Melissa Dailey of Garden Grove, Calif.; Becca Rankin (Michael) of Hollister, Mo.; seventeen grandchildren and thirty great grandchildren.
