Amy Joanne Hardgrave Bohannon, age 89 passed away April 3, 2021 in Branson, MO. She was born July 12, 1931 in Hartman, AR (the only sibling not born at the home place in Harmony, AR) to her late parents, Earl and Coy Boyer Hardgrave. Joanne enjoyed television game shows, gospel music and spending time with family. She was a 12 year employee of Dillard's in Fort Smith. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Clarksville.
She is preceded in death by her second husband, George Bohannon, two sisters, Wanda Hardgrave Spetter and Erla Hardgrave Everitt, one brother, Basil Hardgrave and the love of her life, her first husband, Silas Tipton.
Survivors include a daughter, Carol Tipton Williams of Branson, MO., a son, Gary Tipton of Fort Smith, AR., two grandsons, Brandon Williams of Springfield, MO and Jeremy Tipton (April) of Van Buren, AR., one great grandson, Kaiden Williams of Springfield, MO., one great granddaughter, Kalyn Tipton of Van Buren, AR., one sister, Yvonne Hardgrave Howell (James) of Lavaca, AR., and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held April 24 at 1:00 p. m. at Oakland Cemetery in Clarksville, Arkansas. Clarksville arrangements are under the direction of Hardwick Funeral Home.
