Adam Keith Jenkins was born October 16, 1981 in Branson, MO. He grew up in Crane, MO attending Crane Junior High and High School where he played baseball and basketball. "Adam was an expert outdoorsman that could catch fish when no one else could, an avid sports fan, he excelled at golf. He was an unbelievable point guard and played an awesome shortstop. Adam was an all around natural athlete. He was still throwing football passes to his kids this fall." He loved the 49ers and Michael Jordan was his idol. He worked for Tom Boyce Excavating where he operated heavy equipment. More than anything, Adam loved his children.
Adam passed away Wednesday, January 29, 2020 in Aurora at the age of 38.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, R. C. Jenkins and Pat Jenkins, Arvilla Michel and David Cummings.
Adam is survived by his children, Kyle Jenkins, Abbey Jenkins and Emily Jenkins all of Marshfield; step-daughters, Kami Garland and Haley Garland and Haley’s daughter Skylar; his mother, Susan Odom and husband Jon of Halltown; his father Rick Jenkins and wife Pam of Branson; brother, Curtis Jenkins and wife Jessica of Crane; sister, Chelsea Jenkins of Branson; nieces, Paige Hooper and Brynley Jenkins; nephew, and Caleb Hooper. Adam is survived by a multitude of aunts and uncles who he truly admired, as well as many cousins and friends.
A celebration of Adam’s life will be Friday, February 7, 2020 with a time of visitation beginning at 4:30 p.m. and the service following at 5:30 p.m. in Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory, Branson.
