Vonda Kay Sheets

A Celebration of Life service for Vonda Kay Sheets, 54, of, Branson will be held Saturday, November 16, 2019 at 2:00 PM at the Weddings at the Homestead Barn, 262 Collins Rd off of T Hwy in Branson, MO.  Delbert Gann will officiate. Vonda entered into rest on Tuesday, November 12, 2019. Services are under the direction of Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory, Branson. Burial will be held at a later date at the Gretna Cemetery. 

Vonda Kay Sheets was born January 1, 1965 in Kansas City, MO.  She was the daughter of Joseph "Joe" and Mary (Becker) Wilson. Vonda with her family moved to the Branson area in 1971. She graduated from Branson High School in 1983. Vonda received an Associate Degree from Drury College in Springfield, MO. She will be remembered for her knowledge of the Ozarks. Vonda was active with the White River Valley Historical Society. During her life time she was also a newspaper reporter, retail clerk, cashier, playwright, author and genealogist. Vonda was as member of Taneycomo Daughters of the American Revolution Chapter.  Her hobbies were making jewelry, reading, writing and repurposing items. 

She was preceded in death by her father. 

Vonda is survived by her husband Greg Sheets of Branson; children Wayne Sheets (Jamie) of Kansas City, KS, Guy Sheets (Megan) of Springfield, MO, T.J. Dorsey (Sammy) of Branson, Brett Dorsey of Kissee Mills, MO, Victoria Sheets-Puga of Nixa, MO; her mother Mary Wilson of Branson; one sister Vicki Wilson of Branson and ten grandchildren.
