Terry Clayton Getman

Terry Clayton Getman was born on March 23, 1982 in Springfield, Missouri.  He was the son of Johnnie & Rosemary (Kaneaster) Getman.  Terry graduated from Branson High School.  He went on to become a certified welder and worked for Republic Refrigeration.

Terry married Kelly Jo Bowling on April 7, 2007 in Harrison, Arkansas.  They were blessed with their son, Alex Getman.  Terry loved time with Alex.  He served as his Cub Scout Leader of Pack #179 in Bergman, Arkansas.  Among spending time with his family and working, Terry had a great interest in motorcycles.

Terry passed away on Friday, January 18, 2019 in Springfield at the age of 36.

He is survived by his wife, Kelly and son Alex of Lead Hill, AR; his parents, Johnnie & Rosemary Getman of Walnut Shade; sisters, Barbara Davis of Walnut Shade and Marilyn Lindsey of Willard and brothers, Steve Getman of Springfield and Larry Getman of Kansas City, Missouri.

A celebration of Terry’s life will be Saturday, February 2 at 5:00 P.M. in Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory, Branson.
