Shelley Diane Rainwater

Funeral services for Shelley D. Rainwater, 45, of Mission, Ks. will be held Friday, Apr. 19, 2019 at 10:00 AM at the Church of Christ, Branson. Elder Blaine Orr and Minister Tim Kidwell will officiate.  Burial will follow in the Ozarks Memorial Park Cemetery, Branson.  Services are under the direction of Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory, Branson. Ms. Rainwater entered into rest April 16, 2019.   

Shelley Diane Rainwater was born June 13, 1973 in Jacksonville, Ark. to Bob & Marsha (Lenoard) Rainwater. Shelley had lived in Alaska as a young child before she and her parents moved to Branson.  Shelley graduated from Branson High School where she was a cheerleader, great friend and student. She furthered her education at Oklahoma Christian University in Edmond, OK.  She was a pre-school teacher for a private school in the Kansas City, KS area. She loved teaching her preschool students.  Her care and attention to them earned her their affection in return.

Shelley also liked to travel and had made trips back to Alaska over the years.  Shelley was a member of the Church of Christ, Branson.  She will be remembered as the beautiful girl with the stunning blue eyes, pretty smile and contagious upbeat attitude. 

Shelley is survived by her parents Bob and Marsha Rainwater of Branson; sister Kristie Copeland of Kenai, Alaska; brother Bobby Rainwater, Jr. of Maumelle, Ark; three nephews Spencer Copeland, Lucas Rainwater and Isaac Rainwater, and niece Alex Jewell (Josh).  She will also be missed by numerous family and friends.

Visitation will be Thursday evening April 18, 6-7:30 PM at Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory, Branson.
