Sandra Ellen Waters

Sandy Waters, age 71, passed away on April 11, 2018, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri. Born to Zelda Nickell, on September 13, 1946, in Wichita, Kansas, she was adopted at birth by William and Leona Shields. Fulfilling a dream of living in the Ozarks, Sandy and her family moved to the Branson, Missouri area in 1986, where they have since resided.

Sandy is survived by her long-time and dearest friend Patricia Hetrick of the Home, her daughter Tammy and son-in-law Bruce Matney of Hollister, MO, and grandchildren Matthew Matney, Astoria, NY, and Molly Matney, Brooklyn, NY. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Esther Smith of Wichita.

A Celebration of Sandy’s Life will be held on May 23, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. at the Branson-Hollister Lions Club.  Cremation services provided by Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory of Branson.
