Roxanne Wilson

Roxanne Bell Wilson, 86, passed away Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at Meadow Brook Care Facility in Bellaire, Michigan. She was born February 12, 1932 in Minneapolis, MN to William and Marjorie (Bell) Dachtler. Most of her childhood was spent in Iowa and Virginia, and much of her adult life in New Orleans, LA. In 1952, Roxanne married John Frank Wilson, and together had five children. In 2005, she moved to Bellaire and then to Elk Rapids in 2014.

Roxanne is survived by her children Becky Wilson Mistretta of Lake Wales, FL, John William Wilson (Terri) of Racine, WI, Susan Wilson Silvestri of Biloxi MS, Merry Wilson of Covington, LA, and Sally Wilson Cousins of Harahan, LA; grandchildren Julie, Robby, Katie, Rachel, Jimmy, Paul, Nicole, and John; great-grandchildren John, Leah, Joey, Jocelyn, Hudson, Logan and one more on the way; her sister Sally Rodgers, her cousin Jean Martin of Irvine, CA, and her very dear friend, Claire Weidman of New Orleans.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, John.

Graveside services will be Thursday, June 21, 2018 at 9:00 A.M. in Ozarks Memorial Park Cemetery, Branson.
