Services for Roland B. Orle, 83, of Reeds Spring, will be held Sunday, November 18, 2018 in the Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory, Branson. Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM with the funeral service to begin at 2:00 PM on Sunday. Minister Rita Bullock will officiate. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Branson. Mr. Orle entered into rest on Monday, November 12, 2018 at Cox Medical Center, Branson.
Roland Borje Orle was born on December 23, 1934 in Orebro, Sweden. He was the son of Herman K. Orle and Sally S. (Silander) Orle. After his youth and schooling, he moved to and became a citizen of the United States. He married his loving wife, Barbara Reid on December 1, 1955 in Denver, Colorado. He owned and operated a dental lab in Denver and later Seattle, Washington. Upon selling his lab, Roland and Barbara moved to Branson. They built and operated The Alpenrose Inn for nine years, where they welcomed and shared Branson with many travelers. Roland enjoyed the golf and fishing of this area as well as traveling. He was a loving brother, husband, father and grandfather and especially loved the time he got to spend with and delight in his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Roland was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Marita and Anita; and two great grandchildren, Andrew Bullock and Haley Kvalvik.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Orle of Branson; son, Douglas Orle and wife Mary of Branson; daughter, Cheryl Kvalvik and husband Michael of Honolulu, Hawaii; brother, Rolf Orle and wife Marie of Rhode Island, twelve grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren.
