Orf, Lawrence “Bud”
Reverend Lawrence Wayne Orf, known to friends as "Bud," passed away on October 25, 2018 at the age of 79 years.
A native of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Bud graduated from Central High School and received an Honorary Degree in Divinity from Golden State University.
In 1962 Bud was ordained through the Assemblies of God. He began in full time ministry in 1964; pastoring 5 churches.
Bud’s passion was to see the sick made whole; taking the message of healing to local churches as he traveled in evangelistic ministry with his loving family.
Singing has always been a part of his life with 3 Albums to his credit.

Bud Orf was born October 19, 1939 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was the son of Leander William and Wanda (Harris) Orf. He married his sweetheart Nancy Earlabaugh in June of 1958. It was love at first sight when they meet a few years earlier on the front steps of Lewis Avenue Assembly of God in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was fifth-teen and she was thirteen. Bud and Nancy just celebrated sixty years of marriage this past June.
Bud is survived by his loving wife Nancy and their two children Kevin Orf (Janie) of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Kimberly Isbell (Gary) of Chula Vista, California, one brother Arthur Maimbourg; two sisters Delores Gray and Norma Greenbaum; along with six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his birth parents Lawrence and Nina (Hill) Maimbourg; adoptive parents Leander and Wanda (Harris) Orf and sister Shirley(Orf)Gay and one great-granddaughter Kaylee Grace Orf.
A Celebration of Bud’s life will be held at 1:00 pm, on Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at Faith and Wisdom Church 3950 Green Mountain Dr. Branson, Missouri, with Reverend Gary McSpadden officiating.
