Renate Anna Brandt was born June 30, 1932 in Grosskrotzenburg, West Germany. She was the daughter of Hermann Ernst Severin and Margarete (Euler) Severin. She moved to Branson in 1971 from Chicago, Illinois. She was a wonderful wife and mother, a fabulous cook and successful gardener, growing beautiful flowers and plants. She also loved being outside and taking long walks. Renate loved to travel and especially enjoyed seeing the world by cruise ship with her husband Henry.
Renate entered into rest on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 in Branson at the age of 86.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Henry Brandt.
She is survived by her daughters, Monica Ludden and husband Michael of Maryland, Ramona Boyd and husband Donald of Hollister and Anita Brandt Pugh and husband Charles Pugh of Hollister. She also leaves behind her sister, Inge Dorsey of Colorado Springs, CO; six grandchildren, Jamie and Amanda Ludden, Keegan and Ana Boyd, Nathan and Sam Pugh and numerous great grandchildren.
A celebration of Renate’s life will be held Sunday, December 16, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. in Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory, 1638 E. Hwy 76, in Branson.
