Onita Dawn O'Toole

Dawn K. O’Toole died on January 3, 2019 in Hudson, Florida at the age of 83.  Dawn was born in Branson, MO on September 20, 1935 to Thomas and Vivian Keeler and graduated with honors from Drury College in 1957.  She attended Drury College on full academic and work scholarships, was named Outstanding Woman of the Year her senior year and was a member of Kappa Delta sorority.  After graduation she worked as Program Director for the YMCA in Springfield, Missouri for one year then became a child welfare worker in Platte County, Missouri.  When her son was born, she became a full-time homemaker.  Dawn and her husband lived in Hernando, Florida for the last 25 years.

Dawn is survived by her beloved husband of 60 years Michael.  She is also survived by one son Michael, Jr. (Pavlina) along with four grandchildren, Martina, Jakub, Abbie and Kevin, two great grandchildren, Madi and Matthew and two nieces Betty and Shirley.  Dawn and her family enjoyed travel, fishing, canoeing, reading, pets and was an avid bridge player.  She was predeceased by her father Thomas, mother Vivian, brother James E. Keeler and sister Alta English.

Graveside services will be at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, March 19, 2019 in Ozarks Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory, Branson.  A donation to the charity of your choice would honor her memory.
