I was so sorry to read of Mike Wenig's passing, as reported by Phil Jackson. I worked on many of those ABC events with Mike, even though I worked out of ABC in New York (I recently retired, after 44 years). Mike was a great guy, and a terrific tape engineer, as Phil said. R.I.P., Mike, it was good to have known you.

My sincere condolences to the Wenig Family. Mike was a fantastic Video Tape Engineer, and friend to so many at ABC. I enjoyed working with him on many ABC sports shows, sitcoms, special events, and the Academy Awards. His life touched so many. We can't wear his shoes, but we can walk in his footsteps.
