Matthew William Foxx 38, passed away suddenly at his residence on January 10, 2020. He was born March 31, 1981 in St. Louis, Missouri to Mark and Trudy (Waddell) Foxx. They survive.
Matthew began working in construction at the age of 16 and has always enjoyed working with his hands. He most recently worked in maintenance at Missouri State University in Springfield, MO.
Matthew loved being on the water, be it the ocean or the lake. He enjoyed boating, fishing, the beach, sunshine and palm trees. He also enjoyed four wheeling and exploring. What he most loved was spending time with his family, especially his wife and children.
Matthew married Kristina Trucks on May 24, 2007 in Kimmswick, Missouri. This was the beginning of many adventures which took them from St Louis to Florida to Branson, MO where he began his final adventure.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, William Foxx.
Matthew is survived by his wife, Kristina Foxx and children, Landen Foxx and Adalynne Foxx of Branson, Senior Airman Edward Foxx of Montana and Alexander Foxx of Festus, MO; his sister, Robin Coleman (Gene) of Cedar Hill, MO; his grandmother, Louise Foxx of Lemay, MO; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Clyde and Nancy Trucks of Branson; sister-in-law, Kara Tricomi (Joe) of Godfrey, IL; and sister-in-law, Stephanie Fischer (Nathan) of Granite City, IL along with many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life for Matthew will be Saturday, January 18, 2020 with visitation starting at 11:00 A.M. and the memorial service at 12:00 P.M. in the Granite City First Assembly of God Church in Granite City, IL.
