Mary Louise Ross

Mary Louise Ross was born August 11, 1928 to Simeon and Mamie (Rigsby) Pennington.  She had attended and graduated from Jefferson High School in Jefferson, TX.

Mary married William Ross on April 19, 1947 in Marshall, TX.  They were blessed with three children.  William and Mary had moved to the Hollister area in 1990 from Liberty, Missouri.  She was a member of the Hollister First Baptist Church. Mary was a homemaker and loving mother during her lifetime.  She always thought of family first and took great pride in her children, grand and great grandchildren.

Mary entered into rest on Monday, September 11, 2017 at the Cox Medical Center in Branson at the age of 89.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband William; and siblings Earl, Paul, Harold, Daniel, Thelma Perry and Berta Hopkins.

Mary is survived by her children and their spouses Michael (Judy) Ross of Keller, TX; Ron (Charlene) Ross of Johnson, Neb.; Kimberly (Doug) Wagnon of Branson; a sister Grace Rhyne of Marshall, TX; eight grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren. She will also be missed by two special friends Dave & Bernice Capestro.

Funeral services will be held Friday, September 15, 2017 at 1:00 PM in the Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory, Branson.  Rev. Danny Hartwell will officiate.  Burial will follow in the Ozarks Memorial Park Cemetery, Branson.  

Visitation will be held Thursday, September 14, 2017 at Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory from 6-7 P.M.
