Mary Jane McCombs Justice

Mary Jane McCombs Justice was born December 12, 1926 in Davenport, Iowa.  She was the daughter of William S. McCombs, Jr. and Eva (Wiley) McCombs.  She grew up in Rock Island, Illinois and graduated from Rock Island High School.  On May 25, 1946 she married Lynn Justice, and together they raised six children. They were longtime residents of Naperville, Illinois. Along with caring for her family, Mary also co-owned and operated a suburban Chicago shoe store with her husband.

After relocating to Sarasota, FL in 1983, Mary and Lynn faithfully attended Covenant Life Church, where Mary was also involved in a weekly Bible study.  She recently moved to Branson from Sarasota with her faithful companion, her dog "Coco." Mary enjoyed exercise classes, crossword puzzles, and visits with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Surrounded by family, Mary entered into her rest on Sunday, September 10, 2017 at Morningside at Branson Meadows at the age of 90.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lynn Justice; brother, William McCombs III and grandchildren, Kimberly Ann Justice and Jacob Fogt.

She is survived by her sons, Jeffrey Justice of Sarasota, FL; Mark Justice and wife Mong of Sioux Falls, SD; Michael Justice and wife Nikki of Branson; David Justice and wife Julie of Branson, MO; and Christopher Justice and wife Robbyn of Colorado Springs, CO; daughter, Julianne Fogt and husband Brian of Wildwood, MO; sister, Nancy Hagan of Overland Park, KS; eleven grandchildren, twenty-seven great grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.

Services and interment will be in Sarasota National Cemetery in Sarasota, FL at a later date.
