Mary Margaret Collins

Mary M. Collins, 75, of Hollister passed away Thursday, Sept 6, 2018 at Cox South Medical Center in Springfield. Funeral services are Monday, Sept. 10, 2018 at 2:00 PM in Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory, Branson.  Pastor Joshua Johannes will officiate.  Burial follows in the Ozarks Memorial Park Cemetery, Branson.

Mary Margaret Collins was born Dec. 23, 1942 in Mt. Herman, LA.  She was the daughter of Albert and Della Mae (Parker) Varnado.  She married Donald Collins, Sr. on July 20, 1986 in Newton, TX.   

Mary was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.

She was preceded in death by her husband Donald on March 13, 2009; her parents; her children, Charlotte Ann Goff and Barbara “Bobbie” Bradford; siblings, Geneva Varnado, Willie Mae Dubisson, Peggy Sue Broussard, Doris Templet; and granddaughter, Charlotte “Sissy” Foster (Thomas Gilmore, survives).

Mary is survived by her sister, Clara Volz (Charles Volz, deceased) of Franklinton, LA; brother, Donald (Karen) Varnado of Franklinton, LA; step-children, Kenneth Bradford of LA, Kristina (Shannon) DeVore of Cedar Rapids, IA, Donald (Michelle) Collins III of Forsyth, MO, Angela (Bryan) Kaplan of Blue Springs, MO, Cathy (Ramon) Cardona of Olathe, KS, Bobbie (Kevin) McCormick of Alton, IL; grandchildren, Lloyd (Theresa) Foster, Jr., James “Jimmy” Bradford, Crystal Goff, Whitney (Eric) Wolf, Jessica (Travis) Terrell, Michelle Owings, Brody Collins, Jett Collins, Andersen Kaplan, Geraldo Cardona, Camila Cardona, Eliana Cardona, Alyssa McCormick, Makayla McCormick, Jordan McCormick, Samantha McCormick; great grandchildren, Jessica McPherson and Brittney Foster and great-great grandchildren, Kaille, Jace and Natalie.
