Mary Marie Carter

Mary Marie Carter was born on December 20, 1920 in Granite City, Illinois.  She was the daughter of Joseph Radford and Gladys (Webb) Radford.  Marie was a loving wife and mother and took great care of her family and home.  She enjoyed art especially painting with watercolors.  She also liked to read, go square dancing and garden.  Marie moved to this area from St. Louis.

She entered into rest on Monday, February 11, 2019 in Branson at the age of 98.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband James Ray Carter; daughter, Cynthia Jones; sister, Norma Ebling and great-nephew Michael Hamilton.

Marie is survived by her daughter, Christy Spittler and husband Neal of Blue Eye; two sisters, Dorothy Sieverling of St. Charles, MO and Anna Beatrice Schnittger of Hawaii; two grandchildren Leif Anderson (Adriana) of Chicago, IL;  Kelsey Hoff of Blue Eye and two great-grandchildren Braden Anderson and Annika Anderson.

Graveside services will be in Chesser Cemetery in Pocahontas, AR under the direction of Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory, Branson.
