Lloyd Ray Trackwell, 78 of Eldridge, MO, passed away on April 15, 2018 at his home. Services will be in Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory, Branson with visitation starting at 2:00 P.M. and the funeral to begin at 3:00 P.M. on Friday, April 20, 2018. Burial will follow in Ozarks Memorial Park Cemetery, Branson.
Lloyd was born on April 7, 1940 in Kansas City, MO to Lloyd Jesse Trackwell and Rachael Marie (Luster) Trackwell. He married Judith Christine Peterson on November 30, 1958. Lloyd was an officer of the Nebraska State Patrol. While on the Patrol, he served on the SWAT team during the meat market strike in Sioux City and worked security detail for 3 governors. After moving to Missouri, Lloyd was a deputy with the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office. He also raised cattle and loved ranch work, being outdoors and hunting.
Lloyd is survived by his wife, Judith Trackwell of Eldridge; his children, Lloyd Trackwell, Jr. of Lincoln, NE, Judith Christine Wulf and husband Dan of Windsor, CO, Melissa Shawn Karlson and husband David of Omaha, NE and three sisters, Cindy Merrill, Sheree Trackwell and Dorothea Lape all of Kansas.
