Kevin Doyle Humphrey

Kevin Doyle Humphrey, of Rockaway Beach, MO, passed away on August 16, 2018 at Forsyth Nursing and Rehab. at the young age of 59.  Kevin was born January 27, 1959 in Sandwich, Illinois to Herschel and Ruby (Mann) Humphrey.  The family moved to Fairfield, Iowa when Kevin was 6 months old and remained there until he moved to the Forsyth, MO area in 1983.  In his younger years, he spent many weekends with his dad traveling to motorcycle races so Kevin could race.  He loved the thrill of the speed and won many trophies.  Kevin was very dedicated to his family and spent several years caring for his parents.  Kevin was a good friend to many and had several very close friends over the years.  He was an amazing wood worker and could build anything out of nothing.  He was an avid music lover of most all genres.  He spent hours just listening to music.

Kevin is survived by his closest companion and sister Reta Marks of Forsyth, sister Judy Wyble (Bill) of Bowling Green, MO, a special niece Tammy Pakieser and husband Chad (Kevin’s “Bud”) of Hollister, MO, niece Dena Nordyke (Russell) of Missouri, nephew Tony Greenfield of Iowa, close cousin Dick Neal (Vicki) of Republic, MO, several great nieces and nephews, 3 aunts and several cousins.

Kevin was preceded in death by his loving parents and several close friends.  Final arrangements will be under the direction of Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory in Branson, MO.  Visitation will be Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. in the funeral home.  Graveside services will follow at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, August 22 in Ozarks Memorial Park Cemetery in Branson, MO with Rev. Jim Cariker officiating.
