Julia Blevins Obituary

Julia Mae Blevins, 79, unfortunately lost her battle against cancer and entered into rest from her home in Branson, MO on June 12, 2019.  She was born on March 23, 1940 to Thomas & Mary Trivitt.  On September 27, 1959 Julia married Dorsey W. Blevins.  They then built a beautiful family and life together near Kansas City, MO.  Later they retired to Branson, MO in 1990.

 

She will be remembered for her unwavering faith and her love and devotion for her friends and family.  Julia is survived by her son Dennis Lee Blevins of Branson; granddaughters Miranda Taft of Branson and Casey Courtney of Peculiar; grandson, Camden Summers of Camden, MO, nine great grandchildren and her brother, Geraldene Trivitt.

 

Julia was preceded in death by her loving husband Dorsey and her daughters, Paulette Courtney, Diana Blevins and Robin Blevins along with three brothers and two sisters.

 

Friends and family are welcome to visitation on Monday, June 17, 2019 from 5:00-7:00 P.M. in Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory.  Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. in Ozarks Memorial Park Cemetery, Branson.
