Judith Grace Mikel

Judith Grace Mikel was born on July 15, 1943 in Macomb, Illinois.  She was the daughter of Rollie & Faye (Kelly) Black.  On April 15, 1978, Judith married Charles “Chuck” Mikel. 

Judith raised horses and enjoyed all types of animals.  She was employed by the Radisson Hotel on the housekeeping staff.  When she had spare time, you could find Judith behind a good book reading. 

Judith entered into rest on Sunday, September 29, 2019 at her home in Kirbyville.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Laura Mancini and one sister, Patricia McDaniel.

Judith is survived by her husband Chuck Mikel of Kirbyville; three sons, Duane Mikel of Conway, AR, Sean Mancini of Pottstown, PA and Anthony LaFaire of Kirbyville; one sister, Beverly Strother of Taneyville; two grandsons, Patrick Allen and Anthony LaFaire, Jr. and one great-granddaughter Annalise.

A celebration of Judith’s life will be Thursday, October 3, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. in St. Joseph Anglican Church in Branson with Father Jim McTaggart officiating.  Burial will be at a later date in Helphrey Cemetery, Taneyville.
