John Thomas LaRance of Branson was born on January 30, 1956 in Columbus, Ohio. He was the son of Henry Floyd LaRance and Betty (Maupin) LaRance. He loved cooking and was fantastic at it. He took his skills and worked as a chef for a period of time. He later traded that employment to see the country as a coast-to-coast truck driver. John also enjoyed gardening and loved to go fishing with his grandson.
John entered into rest on Sunday, January 13, 2019 at the age of 62.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Grace Lockhart LaRance; brothers, Robert, Duane, Butch and Henry and one sister, Edith.
John is survived by his nine children, John LaRance, Jr. of Kimberling City, Wayne LaRance of Bullhead, AZ, James Orlando of Columbus, OH, Marty Dwyer of San Diego, CA, Jessica Godby of Springfield, MO, Dana Marquez of Branson, Stephanie Butler of Branson, LeeAnna Nichols of Mission Viejo, California and Maria LaRance of Bullhead, AZ; brothers, Rick LaRance of Medford, OR, Wayne Holtz of Jamestown, NY, Eddie Holtz of Jamestown, NY and Jim LaRance of Medford, OR; two sisters, "Penny" Elizabeth Roehler of Iowa and Karen Cauley of Albuquerque, New Mexico along with twenty-four grandchildren.
The family will hold a private service but appreciate all the love and thoughts during this time.
Arrangements were under the direction of Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory, Branson.
