Jennie Dildine

Funeral services for Jennie Dildine, 89, Reeds Spring, will be held Friday, September 20, 2019 at 2:00 PM in Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home, Branson.  Burial will follow Ozarks Memorial Park Cemetery, Branson.  Mrs. Dildine entered into rest on September 13, 2019 at Cox Medical Center in Branson.

Jennie Dildine was born July 3, 1930 in Evergreen Park, Illinois.  She was the daughter of Abel and Sadie Dykstra.   Jennie married Billy Dildine on November 11, 1961 at Stone Church in Palos Heights, Illinois and they had celebrated fifty-seven years of marriage.  Jennie and Billy had lived in Chicago and eight years in Downers Grove, Illinois before moving to the Tri-Lakes area which they had fallen in love with over years of vacationing here.

Jennie worked in housekeeping for Edgewater Hospital in Chicago and also in Downers Grove.  She was a big Chicago White Sox fan.  Above all, Jennie was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son Billy Ray Dildine; brothers John, William and Abel Jr., and sisters Rufina ”Ruth” and Alice.

Jennie is survived by her loving husband Billy Joe Dildine, son Billy A. Dildine (Susie) of Berkeley Springs, WV, daughter Janet Montgomery of Hurst, TX and granddaughter Kayla Beth Dildine of Elgin, IL.

Visitation will be at Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home, Branson on Wednesday and Thursday, September 18 and 19 from 9-5 both days.
