Memorial services for Jean White will be Friday, January 3, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. in Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory, Branson with Pastor Josh Johannes officiating. In Jean’s memory donations are requested to Sardis General Baptist Church, P. O. Box 1324, Forsyth, MO 65653.
Jean Collette White was born on June 24, 1936 in Rock Island, Illinois. She was the daughter of Frank Edward Bartholomew and Margaret Agnes (Skelton) Bartholomew. She was a graduate of Lions Township High School in LaGrange, Illinois. Jean made a beautiful home for her family along with working as a computer technician with AT&T.
Jean married Charles White on June 9, 1973 in Kansas City. They moved to Forsyth in 1994 from Pine, Arizona. Jean was a member of Sardis General Baptist Church. Jean enjoyed sewing and quilting and her talent could be admired in the beautiful quilts she made. She also liked to pass time playing games on the computer.
Jean entered into rest on Saturday, December 28, 2019 at Cox South Hospital in Springfield at the age of 83.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Shirley Webber.
Jean is survived by her husband, Charlie White of Forsyth; children, Jeff Jenkins (Sheri) of Ozark, MO, Tom Jenkins (Linda) of Pennsylvania, Michael White (Jan) of LaDonia, TX and Donna White of Rockaway Beach; one sister, Suzy Rains of Powersite along with ten grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
