Janet Mae Barnett

Memorial services for Janet M. Barnett, 65, of Branson will be held Tuesday morning, June 12th at 10 AM in the Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory, Branson.  Pastor Joe Cross will officiate.  She entered into rest on June 9, 2018 at the Cox Medical Center, Branson. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory, Branson. 

Janet Mae Barnett was born Jan. 24, 1953 in Troy, New York.  She was the daughter of Eldrick and Florence (Morris) Riley. Janet moved from Willow Springs, Missouri to the Branson area in 2004.

Janet enjoyed the beach and collecting sea shells, arts and crafts, baking, and most of all, spending time with her grandchildren.  She and her husband previously owned a pet store. She had also worked in customer service in the Branson area.

She married Ned Barnett on Aug. 26, 1993 in Willow Springs, Mo.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Janet is survived by her loving husband Ned of the home; her children Paula Markowski (Jeffrey) of Port Saint Lucie, FL; Maleana Eubanks (Daniel) of Concord, NC; Elizabeth Cizek (Bryan) of Branson, MO and John Ebere of Hollister, MO; ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
